David Addison Mattox's Obituary
David Addison Mattox, 74, passed away Monday, December 10, 2012 at his home.
A memorial service will be held at 6:30 pm, Friday, December 14, 2012, at Living Water Church in Kannapolis. Bishop Wade Easom will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 6:15 pm, Friday, prior to the service, at the church.
David was born on July 28, 1938 in Cabarrus County. He was a son of the late Milton Addison Mattox and Sallie Melton Mattox. He was a veteran of the US Army. David retired from Duke Energy Power Plant where he worked as a pipe fitter.
David is survived by his wife, Suzanne Sloop Mattox; three children, Tracey Campbell, Kellie Little and husband Mike and Ashlyn McLaughlin, all of Kannapolis; brother, Robert Mattox and wife Linda of Kannapolis; five grandchildren, Melissa and Brian Little, Zachary Dylan and Adyson Campbell and Emma McLaughlin; and special grandchild, Langlie Simpson.
Memorials may be made to the Children'��s Ministry Building Fund at Living Water Church, 162 North Little Texas Road, Kannapolis, NC 28083.
