I was planning my yearly trip today,26th August , and just found out the bad news. I am very sad today. Will miss planning my trips with David. RIP.
I am so very sorry for the passing of Pete. He planned our wonderful Florida family vacation in the early 90's. During the years riding his buses to and from Cherokee was so enjoyable. I'm so sorry to hear that Pete has left us. I've known him most of my life. He was like a father to me when I was a kid. I met him when I was 5 yrs old and he treated me like his very own kid. He taught me a lot and took me on great vacations and though I haven't seen him in years we have stayed in touch. He really stepped up big for me then and I wish I could have told him in person how big of an impact he had on me. I was always a smart mouthed punk but he never gave up on me. I try to be a better man than I was a kid and he deserves a lot of credit for it. His family was always nice to me and I always enjoyed visiting with his mom and getting her Christmas cookies every year. She even sent me a box when I was in desert storm. I love ya Pete! I am so sorry to hear about Pete. My sincereCondolences to his family and all those that know him. He was a good man. He opened the door for me to work in the travel business. I have worked under his agency for several years. He will be missed.
