Donald Jackson Wilkinson's Obituary
Mr. Donald Jackson Wilkinson, 75, passed away Monday, February 24, 2020, in Salisbury.
A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Thursday, February 27, 2020, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Chaplain Chris Henson will officiate. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:45 pm Thursday at Lady's Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.
Mr. Wilkinson was born June 19, 1944. He was a self-employed carpenter having worked for various construction companies in the area including Leonard Beaver Construction. Although he was known for his woodworking talents, he was also known as an amazing father, friend, prankster, artist and master of his tablet.
He was preceded in death by a half sister, Audrey Cobbler; and a grandson, Casey Wilkinson.
Mr. Wilkinson is survived by three children Tangulia Livengood and husband J.R. of Salisbury, Bubba Wilkinson of Salisbury and Nicole Hill of Concord; two grandchildren, Jarett Livengood and Angel Wilkinson; two step-grandchildren, Mandy Girdler and husband Bradley and Chrissy Kincaid; and Special Family Friends, Jack Bostic, Henry "Doc" Duncan, Leonard Beaver, Jerry Bostic, Frances Bostian and Mark Hill.
