Douglas Calvin Ledbetter's Obituary
Mr. Douglas Calvin "Doug" Ledbetter, age 72, of State Street died Wednesday, April 14, 2010.
Funeral services for Mr. Ledbetter will be conducted in Lady's Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 p.m. today. Burial will follow in the Zion Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:45 p.m. today prior to the service.
Born in Cabarrus County on February 15, 1938, he was a son of the late, Calvin S. Ledbetter and Ollie Jackson Ledbetter Delevie. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served during World War II.
Survivors include a son, Douglas Wayne Ledbetter of Kannapolis, a daughter, Teresa Ledbetter of Goldsboro, NC; two brothers, Robert Lee Tucker of Kannapolis and Michael James Delevie of Charlotte: one sister, Carrie Carol Cook of Kannapolis; four grandchildren, D. J., Dexter, Hayley and Mckenzie Ledbetter.
