Douglas Mark Lefler's Obituary
Mr. Douglas "Mark" Lefler, 47, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2018, at his home in Kannapolis. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Friday, June 29, 2018, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Joseph LaFrage will officiate. Interment will follow at the Barkley Family Cemetery in Salisbury. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:45 pm Friday at Lady's Funeral Home. Mr. Lefler was born September 7, 1970 in Cabarrus County. He was a son of Kathryn Ashby Barkley and the late Douglas M. Lefler. Mr. Lefler loved spending time with his dog Spirit and he also enjoyed working and snowboarding. Mr. Lefler is survived by his daughter, Ashley Lefler of Washington State; two brothers, David Duane Holt and wife Beth and Daniel Matthew Lefler and wife Laura of Salisbury; sister, Dawn Hunt and husband Steve of Salisbury; mother, Kathryn Ashby Barkley and husband William Thomas; and step-mother, Monica H. Lefler and a number of nieces and nephews.
