Dwight Laverne Tittle, Jr.'s Obituary
Dwight LaVerne Tittle, Jr., 46, of Robert Drive, Stanfield, died Monday, June 15, 2009, at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.
A service of remembrance will be conducted at 6 p.m. Thursday, June 18, 2009, at the home of his sister, Lisa Weaver, 280 Office Drive, Concord. Mr. Roy Tittle will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service.
Born March 31, 1963 in Johnson City, Tennessee, he was the son of Maria King DeLa Garza and the late Dwight LaVerne Tittle. A veteran of the US Army, he was employed as a generator installer. He previously worked in several shipyards.
Dwight always had a kind and loving heart. He loved and cared deeply for his family and friends and was ready to help others whenever they needed it. The elderly and children always had a place in his heart. His family will miss him greatly.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Maria King DeLa Garza and David DeLa Garza, with whom he made his home; four daughters, Jennifer Tittle, Vanessa Tittle and Jessica Tittle, all of San Diego, California, Jaycee Tittle of Garden City, Louisiana; two sisters, Lisa Weaver of Concord, Diana Kenny-Hurd of Kingston, Washington; and a brother, Daniel Tittle of Walls, Mississippi.

A memorial service with burial at sea will be conducted at a later date in San Diego, California.
