Elnora Plyler Prevette's Obituary
Mrs. Elnora "Nook" Plyler Prevette, 104, passed away Wednesday, August 30, 2023.
A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Saturday, September 2, 2023, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Joel G. Locklear and Rev. Mike Hazeltine will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:45 pm Saturday at Lady's Funeral Home.
Mrs. Prevette was born January 14, 1919 in Mt. Ulla. She was a daughter of the late General Kershaw Plyler and Maggie Pearl Bassinger Plyler.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Vance Prevette; and son, Ronnie Eugene Prevette.
Mrs. Prevette is survived by daughter-in-law, Brenda Prevette; granddaughter, Wendy Michelle Johnson and husband Tom; grandson, Eddie Prevette and wife Felicia; four great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.
