Etta Wilcox Hollar's Obituary
Mrs. Etta Wilcox Hollar, 86, of 4807 Finch Street, Kannapolis, died Tuesday, December 16, 2003, at NorthEast Medical Center.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 19, 2003, at St. Enoch Lutheran Church. The Rev. John Mark Beam will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Friday at St. Enoch Lutheran Church.
Born November 13, 1917, in Rowan County, she was a daughter of the late Albert L. Eagle and Cora Trexler Eagle. Mrs. Hollar was a retired seamstress and a member of St. Enoch Lutheran Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a husband, Willard Glenn Wilcox, who died June 29, 1957.
Survivors include her husband, Howard B. Hollar, Sr.; a daughter, Linda Freeman of Salisbury; a step-daughter, Joanne Beaver of Salisbury; two sons, Larry Wilcox of Harrisburg and Donnie Wilcox of Salisbury; a step-son, Howard B. Hollar, Jr. of Landis; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be sent to the Flower Fund of St. Enoch Lutheran Church, 701 Campbell Street, Kannapolis, NC 28081.
