A funeral service is scheduled for 2:30 pm Wednesday, January 4, 2017, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Ron Bushey will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.

Mrs. Moffitt was born October 16, 1929 in Cabarrus County. She was a daughter of the late Ernest Clifford “EC” Linker and Blanche Eller Linker. She worked at Roses in Kannapolis for a short period of time but became a stay at home mom to take care of her family. Everyone knew her by Granny and was loved by all. She was a great wife, mother, mother-in-law and a wonderful grandmother. She kept her grandchildren all their lives and the best baby sitter God ever gave to a family.
God richly blessed our family when he gave Granny to our family and she will be missed by each and every one of us but we know she is now in Heaven with our Lord and singing Precious Memories with the angels.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Vertie Lee Linker Menius; and two brothers, Everette Guy Linker and Ernest “Punk” Linker.
Eunice is survived by her husband of 69 years, William Moffitt, Jr.; daughter, Linda Moffitt Boyd; three sons, Ricky Moffitt and wife Sharon, Dennis Moffitt and wife Debbie and Kevin “Pud” Moffitt and wife Robin; a sister, Joanne Linker Shumate of North Wilkesboro; 9 grandchildren, Daryl Boyd and wife Cyndi of Kannapolis; Anita “Cissy” Schrad and husband Devin of Mooresville, Amy Campbell and husband Chris of Concord, Angie Kepley and husband Steven of Rockwell, Jennifer Burgin and husband Billy of Iron Station, Joshua Moffitt of Kannapolis, Kevin “Scottie” Moffitt and wife Deana of Kannapolis, Alan Moffitt and wife Desiree of China Grove and Amanda Westfall and husband James of Concord; 20 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
We love you Granny!
We want to thank Avante Nursing Facility and especially Hospice for taking care of our mother during these difficult years.
