Eunice Sloop Moore's Obituary
Mrs. Eunice Sloop Moore, 82, of Oakdale Heights in Winston Salem, formerly of Brantley Road in Kannapolis, passed away on Thursday, March 11, 2004 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home.
Funeral services will be conducted 3:30 p.m. Saturday, March 13, 2004, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel in Kannapolis. Dr. Thomas Cabaniss will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Lady's Funeral Home.
Born June 3, 1931 to Fred G. Sloop and Mary C. Sloop. She graduated from Cannon High School in 1939 and was employed by Canon Mills, retiring in 1983. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Kannapolis.
Eunice is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Max Neal Moore, also of Oakdale Heights in Winston-Salem; one daughter and son-in-law, Kaye and Perry Stockton of Clemmons; one granddaughter and husband, Stephanie and Robert Smith of Kailua, Hawaii; one great-granddaughter, Perri Smith, also of Kailua, Hawaii; and one sister, Lucille Tice of Kannapolis.
