Fannie Mae Little Sherrill's Obituary
Mrs. Fannie Mae Little Sherrill, 90, passed away Friday, May 4, 2018, at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.
A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Sunday, May 6, 2018, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Shawn Beaver will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:45 pm Sunday at Lady's Funeral Home.
Mrs. Sherrill was born May 2, 1928 in Mt. Pleasant. She was a daughter of the late Henry Calvin Little and Mary Louanna Hough Little. She retired after 23 years from the cutting room of Cannon Mills where she worked as a trimmer. She loved her nieces and nephews and also loved crocheting, where she made many blankets. She enjoyed word search puzzles, flowers, eating out and going to Wal-Mart.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Paul Sherrill; four sisters, Gladys, Annie, Mary and Clydiebelle; and four brothers, Walter, Archie, Jack and Roy.
Mrs. Sherrill is survived by two step-sons, Wayne Sherrill and wife Helen of Mooresville and Charles Ray Sherrill of Concord; and many nieces and nephews, including Margie, Ruth and husband Dick, Shirley, Darrell and wife Sue, Ray and Dean.
