Faynell Beaver's Obituary
Mrs. Faynell Campbell Beaver, 85, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2014, at Tucker Hospice House.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, February 27, 2014, at Lady’s Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Richie Honeycutt and Rev. Dorland Abernathy will officiate. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in China Grove.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 pm Thursday prior to the service at Lady’s Funeral Home.
Mrs. Beaver was born on November 15, 1928 in Rowan County. She was a daughter of the late Lester Franklin Campbell and Susan Melton Campbell. Mrs. Beaver enjoyed camping and fishing with her family. She also enjoyed making holiday candy and was an avid singer and pianist. Mrs. Beaver was a member of Landis Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Cheryl “Suzie” Dayvault; three sisters; and three brothers.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Willie Black Beaver; two sons, Willie “Skeet” B. Beaver, Jr. of China Grove and Kenneth A. Beaver and wife, Angela, of Kannapolis; sister, Ruth C. Deadmon of Landis; two grandchildren, Nick Beaver and Wendy Johnson and husband James; two great grandchildren, Kamden and Avery Johnson; and numerous nephews and nieces.
