Floyd Gray McBride's Obituary
Mr. Floyd Gray McBride, 87, passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2016, at Big Elm Nursing Center in Kannapolis.
A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Sunday, June 12, 2016, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Mike Roper will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 12 to 1:45 pm Sunday at Lady's Funeral Home. At other times, the family will be at the home, 1302 Stone Avenue.
Mr. McBride was born January 28, 1929 in Kannapolis. He was a son of the late Charles Adam McBride and Mary Ann Leticia Dean McBride. He was a truck driver and was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in Korea.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Gray McBride; a daughter, Melinda McBride Howell; two sisters, Ruth McBride Shoemaker and Grace McBride Bullaboy; and a brother, Charles Raymond McBride.
Mr. McBride is survived by a daughter, Tina McBride of Kannapolis; son, Randy McBride of Kannapolis; five grandchildren, Brandon Beaver, Casey Beaver, Chris McBride, Laurie McBride Ingle and Traci Honeycutt; and five great grandchildren, Candi McBride Austin, Jonathan McBride, Logan Ingle, Landon Ingle and Melanie Jordan Beaver.
