Frances Emma Booth's Obituary
Mrs. Frances Emma Miller Booth, 93, passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2014, at Tucker Hospice House.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, July 31, 2014, at First Wesleyan Church. Rev. Scott Wheeler and Rev. Edwin Chriscoe will officiate. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 12 to 12:45 pm Thursday at the church prior to the service.
Mrs. Booth was born on February 20, 1921 in Clover, SC. She was a daughter of the late Henry Oscar Miller and Cora Lee Huffstetler Miller. She worked in the sheet department at Cannon Mills. She was a life member of First Wesleyan Church where she kept the nursery at the church for over twenty years. Mrs. Booth enjoyed flowers, crochet work and cooking for her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Boyd “CB” Booth; and sister, Ruby Lee Miller.
Mrs. Booth is survived by her daughter, Angela Wilhite and husband Bobby, of Kannapolis; two grandchildren, Robert Shane Wilhite and wife Patrice, of Poquoson, VA and Wendi Wilhite Greene and husband Randall, of Kannapolis; and four great grandchildren, Jordan and Nate Wilhite of VA and Colby and Cloe Greene of Kannapolis.
