Frances Gordon Eppley's Obituary
Mrs. Ellen Frances Gordon Eppley, 81, a resident of the Roger Huntington Nursing Center in Greer and formerly of Lyman, SC, died Sunday, January 15, 2006, at the nursing center.
A graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday, January 19, 2006, at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis. The Rev. Mike Roper will officiate.
The family will receive friends at the cemetery.
Born January 11, 1925, in Gaffney, SC, she was a daughter of the late Archie B. Gordon and Winnie Mae Teague Gordon. She was retired from Startex Mills in Startex, SC.
Her husband, James Arnold Eppley, preceded her in death in January 1974.
Survivors include a daughter, Darlene Lowe and husband, Jerry, of Greer, SC; a son, William Ray Eppley and wife, Lynn, of Portland, Oregon; one brother, Gene Gordon of China Grove; six grandchildren, William Ray Eppley, Jr., Christina Lynn Allen, Kelly Michelle Greene, Eric Lowe, Scott Coggins and Tammy Landis; and six great-grandchildren.
