Frances Marjorie Farmer Register's Obituary
Mrs. Frances Marjorie Farmer Register, 87, passed away Friday, February 25, 2022, at Liberty Commons Nursing and Rehab Center in Salisbury.
A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Monday, February 28, 2022, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Zack Sizemore will officiate. Entombment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 1:45 pm Monday at Lady's Funeral Home.
Mrs. Register was born February 10, 1935 in Schoolfield, VA. She was a daughter of the late Francis Marion Farmer and Irene Casper Farmer. She retired from Cannon Mills Plant One Finishing Department.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Earl Register in September of 2000; a son, Carl Joseph "Joey" Finney, Jr.; and a brother, Ralph Farmer.
Mrs. Register is survived by two sons, Dean Finney and wife Jill of Linwood and Randy Finney of Charlotte; daughter-in-law, Kathleen Finney of China Grove; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; and a special friend and caregiver, Ronnie Gainey.
The family would like to extend their special thanks to the staff of Liberty Hospice of Thomasville, Liberty Commons of Salisbury and everyone in the ICCU at Rowan Novant Medical Center in Salisbury.
