Frances Heintz Richardson's Obituary
Mrs. Frances Heintz Richardson, 92, of Kannapolis, died Sunday, February 22, 2009, at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast in Concord.
A funeral service is scheduled for 3:00 pm Thursday, February 26, 2009, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Judy White will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 2:45 pm Thursday at Lady's Funeral Home.
Mrs. Richardson was born June 20, 1916 in Mt. Pleasant. She was a daughter of the late Zeb Vance Heintz and Margaret Bost Heintz. She retired in 1981 after 43 years of service from Cannon Mills where she worked in the towel and washcloth departments as a timekeeper. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, where she was active in the Crafty Ladies and the United Methodist Women.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lincoln Richardson, who died March 20, 1977; three sisters, Ruby Arlene Heintz, Mae H. Sherrill and Mildred H. Gaddy; and two brothers, Norman "Gabe" Heintz and Max Heintz.
Mrs. Richardson is survived by two brothers, Everette Heintz of Kannapolis and Gene Heintz of Concord; niece, Nancy H. Shinn of Concord; five nephews, Stephen B. Heintz and Michael W. Heintz, both of Statesville, Larry G. Heintz, Troy B. Sherrill, and Kim E. Heintz, all of Concord; and a number of grand and great grand nieces and nephews.
