Garlie whitie Lincoln Laws' Obituary
Mr. Garlie "Whitie" Lincoln Laws, 70, of 310 E. Garden Street, Landis, died Thursday, July 9, 2009, at Rowan Regional Medical Center in Salisbury.
Mr. Laws was born June 6, 1939 in North Wilkesboro. He was the son of the late Clifford Minnie Laws. He worked many different jobs through the years, some of which include construction, chef, railroad worker and coal mining.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Terry Laws.
Mr. Laws is survived by three daughters, Teresa Cooke of the home, Tomeka Lovingood of Hendersonville and Tonda McKenzie of Auburndale, FL; three sons, Tommy Stanley of Auburndale, Fl, Mark and Clint Laws, both of Kannapolis; 11 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
