I was happy to meet George. He seemed to have a good spirit right off and was anxious to learn everyone's name at church. His great demeanor, smiling face and willingness to help will be missed.

I first met George when he was manning the Alpha Theta booth during rush week at BJU. He convinced me to join by telling me how down-to-earth the Razorback society was...said they were nothing more than "glorified pigs!" He was always so energetic, positive, and cheerful. It was a privilege to know him. Praying for Kathy and the family during this temporary separation.

George had an incredible sense of humor and I always loved seeing his glow when he walked into a room. Always someone I admired spiritually

George was a kind man. He always had a dad joke to tell and a song to sing. George's smile was infectious and his laugh would make you smile right along with him. He will be missed, but we know that he is sitting at the feet of Jesus. We will miss you George and we will see you in heaven one day. This was the last thing he put on Facebook. That is so George 🙂

I’m Grorge and Kathy’s neighbor…. The fondest and funnest memory I have of George is one time when him and his grandson were staying in a hotel nearby bc it had a swimming pool, Kathy had come home. Kathy came knocking at the door. She thought she had left it at the hotel and asked to use my phone.
George couldn’t find it. She went back home.
George called me shortly after saying he had found the location. Anyways… we got to talking and laughing and almost forgot why he was calling.
I didn’t know him but a few years… but I know he was a good man and will be missed by many! 🙏🏻🥲❤️
