Grace Aldridge's Obituary
Mrs. Grace Patterson Aldridge, 88, of Kannapolis, went home peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday evening, December 1, 2012.
She was born December 14th, 1923 in Rowan County. She was a daughter of the late O. A. and Ruth Patterson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son, Henry Aldridge; grandson, Ricky Trexler; and two sisters.
Mrs. Aldridge is survived by her five children, Emmie Trexler and husband James of Rockwell, where she had lived since October 13, 2011, Johnnie Aldridge and wife Brenda of Mooresville, Bobbie Aldridge and fiancée Pat Hammock of Kannapolis, Frankie Aldridge of Kannapolis and Willie Taylor of Concord; nine grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; sixteen great great grandchildren; two great great great grandchildren; two brothers, Claude Patterson and wife Mildred of Kannapolis and �Buddy� Patterson of Faith; one sister, Marjorie Moffitt of Kannapolis.
A funeral service will be held at noon, Monday, December 3, 2012, at Lady�s Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Mike Taylor, Pastor Jeff Upright and granddaughter, Kim Trexler will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.
Visitation for family and friends will be from 10:30 to 11:45 am Monday prior to the service at Lady�s Funeral Home.
