Grace Marlene Prevette Helms' Obituary
Mrs. Grace Marlene Prevette Helms, 86, passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at Liberty Commons Nursing and Rehab Center in Salisbury.
A funeral service is scheduled for 10:00 am Monday, July 21, 2025, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Mike Roper will officiate. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove.
The family will receive friends from 9 to 9:45 am Monday at Lady's Funeral Home.
Mrs. Helms was born May 27, 1939 in Rowan County. She was a daughter of the late J. J. Prevette and Clara Jane Foutz Prevette.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Baxter Warden Helms, Jr..
Mrs. Helms is survived by three children, Kenneth Baxter Helms and wife Charlotte of New London, Phillip Lewis Helms and wife Nancy of China Grove, and Patricia Ann Oddie of Salisbury; brother, Ralph Prevette of Ohio; 10 grandchildren, Tarra Cline, Stacey Marie Pool, Jacob Helms, Daniel Wayne Helms, Jody Grace Helms, Kim Bland, Joseph Helms, Autumn Helms, Amanda Hatley, and Andrew Anspach; and 11 great grandchildren.
