Guy Andrew Robinson Sr.'s Obituary
Mr. Guy Andrew Robinson, Sr., 87, passed away Friday, September 24, 2021, at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.
A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at Trinity Lutheran Church. Pastor Tom Christensen will officiate. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 1:45 pm Tuesday at Trinity Lutheran Church.
Mr. Robinson was born December 27, 1933 in Cabarrus County. He was a son of the late John Robinson and Pearl Rowell Robinson. He was a life long member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Concord. He was a Veteran of the Army 82nd Airborne Division.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle Rebecca Crabtree Robinson; daughter, Lisa Robinson; three sisters, Johnsie Linker, Helen Lockhart and Virginia Christy; and brother, Henry Robinson.
Mr. Robinson is survived by daughter, Wanda Robinson of Surfside Beach, SC; three sons, Andy Robinson of Concord, Barry Leon Robinson and wife Hazel of Concord and John Robinson and wife Monique of Newton; five grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
