Hazel Ruth Ewing's Obituary
Mrs. Hazel Ruth Lowder Ewing, 93, of East 10th Street, passed away Thursday, December 27, 2012, at CMC-NorthEast in Concord.
A funeral is scheduled for 11:00 am Monday, December 31, 2012, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Mr. Myles Decker will officiate. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:00 pm Sunday at Lady'��s Funeral Home.
Mrs. Ewing was born October 26, 1919 in Rowan County. She was a daughter of the late Allen Lowder Sr. and Dora Vetra Williams Lowder. She was a homemaker, always enjoyed everyone coming to visit, travelling and eating out. She always made time to listen to everyone and not make judgements.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie D. Ewing, in 1979; a daughter, Lois Lisk; son, David G. Deaton; brother, Allen Lowder, Jr.; and five sisters, Carol Edwards, Alice Lowder, Naomi Barnette, Geraldine "Jean" Seals and Edna Virginia Lowder Hayes; one grandchild and three great-great grandchildren.
Mrs. Ewing is survived by two daughters, Brenda Decker and husband, Myles of Mooresville and Joyce Bubacz and husband Frank of Franklin, NC; 14 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren.
