Heath Alan Moreland's Obituary
Heath Alan Moreland, 44, passed away Monday, June 16, 2014, at Levine and Dickson Hospice House in Huntersville.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm Friday, June 20, 2014, at Lady’s Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Dr. Bradley Price will officiate. Private graveside service will be held at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens in Charlotte.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2:45 pm Friday prior to the service at Lady’s Funeral Home.
Heath was born on November 22, 1969 in Miami, FL. He was a son of Dwayne Alan Moreland and Sandra Kaye Keyser Moreland of Kannapolis. He was a self-employed cattle farmer. He was a member of Kings Way Baptist Church in Concord. Heath enjoyed fishing, hunting, rodeos and was a professional rodeo performer. He liked riding motorcycles, was a good marksman and was an excellent cook, poet and artist. Heath was known as a devoted family man and was loyal to his many friends.
In addition to this parents, he is survived by his wife, Noel Marie Ibrahim Moreland; son, Robert Cleaver of Concord; three daughters, Robyn Kaye Moreland, Savanah Fawn Moreland and Heather Alana Moreland, all of Mt. Pleasant; and brother, Shawn “Andy” Moreland, of Athens, GA.
