Helen Epley Baucom's Obituary
Mrs. Helen Epley Baucom, 92, passed away Monday, June 5, 2017, at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.
A funeral service is scheduled for at 2:00 pm Friday, June 9, 2017, at New Hope Lutheran Church. Rev. Dale Norris will officiate. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 1:45 pm Friday at the church.
Mrs. Baucom was born May 14, 1925 in Rowan County. She was the daughter of the late Wade B. Epley and Eva Overcash Epley. She retired from Cannon Mills Plant One, where she worked in the #3 Spinning Room.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie S. Baucom, Sr.; and son, Lonnie S. Baucom, Jr.
Mrs. Baucom is survived by her daughter, Peggy Baucom Lynch and husband Steve of Kannapolis; daughter-in-law, Nancy F. Baucom, wife of the late Lonnie Baucom, Jr.; and five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
