Henry Clay Gaddy's Obituary
Mr. Henry Clay Gaddy, 98, passed away Sunday, October 28, 2012, at CMC-NorthEast in Concord.
A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Wednesday, October 31, 2012, at Trinity United Methodist Church. Rev. Judy White will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.
The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 7:30 pm Tuesday at Lady's Funeral Home.
Mr. Gaddy was born October 4, 1914 in Anson County. He was a son of the late John Stacy Gaddy and Jonie Cagle Gaddy. He was veteran of the US Navy and best known for being a barber and wearing bowties. Henry was a master beekeeper and loved his gardening. He was a Past President of the Barber�s Association and the Beekeeper�s Association. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, a member of the Rev. J.L. Smith Sunday school class, and a member of Brookdale Baptist Church for many years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Turner Gaddy; three brothers and two sisters.
Mr. Gaddy is survived by two daughters, Martha Helms of Concord and Ann Isenhour and husband Eddie of Gastonia; son, Eddie Gaddy and wife Marie of Oak Ridge, NC; three granddaughters, Laurie Beaver, Hayley Gaddy and fiancé Cliff Carmichael and Caroline Hager and husband Seth; and great granddaughter, Lilly Beaver.
