Jack Edward Moose's Obituary
Mr. Jack Edward Moose, Sr. a loving and kind father and grandfather died Monday, October 16, 2006, at NorthEast Medical Center.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 19, 2006, in Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Gene Beaver will officiate. Burial will follow in Carolina Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 10 until 11 a.m. on Thursday at Lady's Funeral Home prior to the funeral service. At other times, the family will be at the home, 466 Cessna Road.
Mr. Moose, 77 years old, was born September 11, 1929 in Alexander County a son of the late Paul Lee Moose and Hessie Mary Wike Moose. He was employed as an iron worker with NASA where he helped build launch pads.
Survivors include four daughters, Kimberly M. Hinson and husband, Gerald, of Concord, Jill E. Curry and husband, Larry, and Paula Kay Moose all of Verona, VA, and Dean Baker and husband, Donnie, of Monroe; one son, Jack E. "Jay" Moose, II of Salisbury. Also surviving are two brothers, George Moose of China Grove and Graydon "Cool" Moose of Grafton, VA; two sisters, Helen Walters of Grafton, VA and Dot Starnes, of Kannapolis; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren and a special friend, Aileen Frost.
