James Ruben Haynes' Obituary
Mr. James Ruben Haynes, 79, of 83 Lowe Avenue, passed away Thursday, December 2, 2010, at CMC-NorthEast in Concord.
A funeral service is scheduled for 6:30 pm Sunday, December 5, 2010, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Forest Jones will officiate. Interment with military honors will be 11:00 am Monday at the Salisbury National Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 6:30 at Lady's Funeral Home. At other times, the family will be at the residence.
Mr. Haynes was born March 29, 1931 in West Jefferson, NC. He was a son of the late John Thomas Haynes and Nora Lane Haynes. He retired from Hoover's Hosiery and Willard Industries. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in Korea.
Mr. Haynes is survived by his wife, Pattie Harris Haynes; daughter, Wanda H. Clark and husband, Tony of Kannapolis; son, Jeffery W. Haynes and wife, Scarlette of Concord; four grandchildren, Angel Baker, Christie Clark, Rebekah Haynes and Jordan Taylor Haynes; and one great granddaughter, Aryana Baker.
