James E. Teeter's Obituary
Mr. James Edward "Jim" Teeter, 74, of 113 Evandale Circle, Kannapolis, died Wednesday, April 21, 2004, at his home, following 18 months of declining health and a serious illness of one month.
Graveside services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Saturday, April 24, 2004, at Carolina Memorial Park. The Rev. Randy Foster will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Lady's Funeral Home. At other times they will be at their respective homes.
Born November 18, 1929, in Rowan County, he was a son of the late Gurney Teeter and Maude Kluttz Teeter. He was the owner and operator of Tourist Rentals in Kure Beach, NC. He was a member of Bethpage United Methodist Church and was a veteran of the US Army.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Pressley Teeter; a son, James Wesley Teeter and his wife, Debbie, of China Grove; two sisters, Margie Miller of Palo Cedro, California and Elsie Teeter of China Grove; and two grandchildren, John Wesley Teeter and Michaela Kathryn Teeter.
