Jay Lee Clark's Obituary
Jay Lee Clark, age 73, 0f 5271 Irish Potato Road, Kannapolis, passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2009 at his home.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Richard Wilson officiating.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Lady's Funeral Home At other times they will at the residence.
Mr. Clark was born on April 6, 1935 in Bluefield, West Virginia to the late Claude Clark and Minnie Farmer Clark. He was a retired dispatcher for Colonial Truck Line, and an employee of Carolina Piedmont Vending Company. Mr. Clark donated to and worked for the Diabetes Foundation as long as he was able.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda Harmon Clark; one daughter, Lisa Clark Yancey and husband Joe of Kannapolis; a son, Michael Francisco and wife Ann of Tennessee; sister, Brenda Austin and husband Gene of Concord; brother, Larry Clark and wife Judy of Beckley, Virginia; four grandchildren also survive, Jeremy Clark, Alisa Yancey, Chloe Yancey and Jasmine Yancey.
