Jean Carol Lindsay Funderburk, 74, of Pittsdown Road, Columbia, SC, and formerly of Kannapolis, died Thursday, March 11, 2010, at Ascension Hospice in Irmo, SC. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 14 at St. Read Obituary
Bill, Donna and family. We were all so saddened to hear about Jean's passing. SHe was such a warm, loving and kind woman who loved her family so dearly. She will be deeply missed by your extended family here at the Park. Please know that we are all thinking of you today and in the weeks ahead. We were very sad to hear about the loss of Mrs. Funderburk. Eugene & I have been the best of friends since 1987, and I have known his mother to be one of the most caring, enthusiastic, and loving people I've ever met. She will be missed by all of us that had the honor of knowing her.
Eugene, Charlie and I were very sorry to learn of the recent loss of your mother. Please know that you and all of your family are in our thoughts and prayers at this time. We learned of the loss from Herb and Llewellyn Hames, who are in the Seven Oaks exercise class with your father. Whenever I spoke with your mother, it was always evident how much she loved you and how proud she was of you.
