Jean Wilson's Obituary
Mrs. Jean Elizabeth Wilson, 90, passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2020, at Universal Health Care in Concord.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Wilson was born March 12, 1930 in Wilmington, DE . She was a daughter of the late David Ellis Savin and Helen Collier Savin. She was a member of First Baptist Church of China Grove.
Ms. Wilson was, above all, a dedicated child of God and a faithful homemaker. Serving alongside her husband Paul, she raised five children to love the lord and to live for him. Her ministry was in the home first and in the church second. She loved teaching children and singing in the church choir. Card writing was something she did faithfully until her health would not cooperate. God used her tremendously as a Prayer Warrior. Her home going to heaven leaves a huge gap in the work here on earth for God's Kingdom. She was preceded in death by husband, Paul Milton Wilson; brother, David Savin; sister Louise Clark; two sons, David and Glenn Wilson.
Mrs. Wilson is survived by son, Steve Wilson and wife Lucy of Salisbury; two daughters, Virginia "Giny" Strengehagen and husband Tor of Norway, Lori Goldensoph and husband Michael of Fort Collins,CO. She was also survived by eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers and food memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 302 Patterson Street, China Grove, NC 28023, please designate for the Tanzania Bible fund.
