Jerry Max Crainshaw's Obituary
Mr. Jerry Max Crainshaw, 71, of 307 Dakota Street, Kannapolis, died Thursday, October 6, 2005, at NorthEast Medical Center.
Funeral services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Sunday, October 9, 2005, at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Salisbury. The Rev. Chad Walker and the Rev. Dr. Jill Crainshaw will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the church. At other times, they will be at the residence.
Born July 30, 1934, in Cabarrus County, he was the son of the late Joe Fink Crainshaw and Lillie Patton Crainshaw. He retired from Radiator Specialty Company and previously worked for Delph Context Building Supply in Charlotte. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Concord.
Survivors include his wife, Sarah Rodgers Crainshaw; a daughter, the Rev. Dr. Jill Crainshaw of Winston Salem; a son, Joel Stuart Crainshaw and wife, Holley, of Kannapolis; a sister, Jolene Harwell of Concord; and three grandsons, Carson Crainshaw, Chase Crainshaw and Nicholas Crainshaw.
