Jerry Ronald Honeycutt, Sr.'s Obituary
Jerry Ronald Honeycutt, Sr., 77, of Firelight Court, Concord, died Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at Tucker Hospice House.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 19, 2009 at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Freddy Lindsey will officiate. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in China Grove.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. Saturday at Lady's Funeral Home. At other times, they will be at the home of a daughter, Jayne Bailey, 5206 Historic Springs Drive, Concord.
Born June 14, 1932 in Cabarrus County, Mr. Honeycutt was the son of the late Charles "Bud" Honeycutt and Berlie Sillmon Honeycutt. He was a retired sheet metal worker. A US Air Force veteran, he was a member of American Legion Post 51. He formerly attended Forest Hill United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Jayne Honeycutt Bailey and husband, Art, of Concord, Judith Honeycutt Hargett and husband, Mike, of Charlotte; two sons, Jerry Ronald Honeycutt, Jr. and wife, Keli, of Mesa, AZ, Fred Marshall Honeycutt and wife, Michelle, of Concord; four sisters, Audrey Hall, Daphne Plott and husband, Ned, and Jane Krimminger, all of Concord, Catherine Morris and husband, Buddy, of Greensboro; two brothers, Jimmy Honeycutt and wife, Shirley, of China Grove, David Honeycutt and wife, Susan, of Lexington; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
