Jessie Garland Overcash's Obituary
Mrs. Jessie Garland Overcash, 93, passed away Friday, February 11, 2022 at her home.
A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Her son, Rev. Timothy Overcash will officiate. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in China Grove.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12 to 1:45 pm at the funeral home.
Mrs. Overcash was born November 11, 1928 in Erwin, TN. She was a daughter of the late Conway Garland and Dora Collins Garland.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, V. J. Overcash in 1980; and two daughters, Debbie Surratt and Betty Scercy.
Mrs. Overcash is survived by her son, Timothy Overcash; two daughters, Barbara Harris of China Grove and Kathy Abernathy and husband John of Kannapolis; nine grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
