So sorry to hear of our cousin's passing. Since our father, John Crawford Benson, moved to Philadelphia, Pa and married in his early twenty's, we had few but very memorable visits to and from our loved ones in North Carolina of which John Ray and Mary Gladys were one. Sorry we live so far apart that we can't appreciate one another. Think of what a great family reunion John Ray is now experiencing with family and being with the Lord. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.

Dear Mary Gladys, Ann, and Dale-

I am saddened to hear of your loss. Your family was very meaningful to me in childhood, since I studied piano with Mary Gladys and admired both Ann and Dale in band. WQaiting at your house for my father to pick me up after piano lessons gave me the chance to know John as I would not have otherwise. He was a calm and solid person. I'm sure you miss him a lot. You are all in my thoughts.
