As a Christian Minister, I would like to extend to you my sincere condolences for the loss of your husband, Joseph. Although we are not personally acquainted, we are acquainted with the pain when our loved one falls asleep in death. At Matthew 6:10 Jesus taught us to pray for God's Kingdom to come here upon the earth as it is in the heavens. The fact that the heavens is peaceful, without sickness and death is surely a place we would all want to be. So when we pray for these conditions to come on the earth, we are asking God to restore the earth back to its original condition when he created Adam and Eve. That Kingdom will be a reality here on the earth. The Scriptures promise that soon that day will come when there will be no more death and Almighty God Jehovah will wipe away the tears of sorrow from our eyes forever. (Revelation 21:3,4) He promises too that your loved ones, my loved ones and many others will hear his voice and come out of their memorial tombs to live in heaven-like conditions here on the earth. (John 5:28,29; Psalms 37:29) I pray that the comfort from the scriptues will help you to endure this difficult time in your life.
