Julian Stapleton's Obituary
Mr. Julian Stapleton, 73, passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2017, at Carolinas HealthCare System-NorthEast in Concord.
A funeral service is scheduled for 12:00 pm Monday, October 30, 2017, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Randy Flemming and Chaplain Rev. K. Darrell Williams will officiate. Interment with military honors will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove.
The family will receive friends from 10:30 to 11:45 am Monday at Lady's Funeral Home.
Mr. Stapleton was born June 19, 1944 in Tifton, GA. He was a son of the late Walter Lee Stapleton and Lucille Purvis Stapleton. He was a veteran of the US Army having served in the Korean War. Mr. Stapleton worked for the California Highway Patrol after his tour of duty. He was an owner operator at Belue Trucking Company and formerly worked with Schneider National Trucking Company as a Training Advisor for 26 years.
Mr. Stapleton is survived by his wife, Carol of 50 years; three daughters, Terri Lynn Dambrowski and husband Terry Lee of Sanford, Lisa Henderson and husband Bobby of Green Creek and Julethia Hawthorn of Kannapolis; three sons, Shannon Stapleton and wife Christy of Kannapolis, Chris Stapleton and wife Trina of Woodruff, SC and John Mark Stapleton and wife Nikki of Green Creek; a and brother, Quitman Lee Stapleton; 30 grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
