Kathleen Query Helms' Obituary
Mrs. Kathleen Query Helms, 85, originally from Kannapolis, passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2007, at Windsor Point Retirement Home in Fuquay-Varina, where she had been a resident since 1999.
The funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, January 18, 2007, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. Thomas Cabaniss will officiate. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, January 17, 2007 at Lady's Funeral Home.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Spurgeon T. Helms; parents, James Alexander Query and Fannie Orr Query of Concord; brothers Robert E. Query, James Lardner Query, Marion O. Query; and a sister Mary F. Query Morgan.
She is survived by her daughters, Kathy Helms Baker and husband John Lee Baker and Myra Helms Fulmer and husband Robert Fulmer of Angier; two grandchildren, Robert Brian Ezzell of Prescott, AZ and Margaret Camille Ezzell of Raleigh; two brothers, Fred A. Query and wife Dot of Kannapolis and Charles C. Query and wife Frankie of Salisbury; a sister, Helen Query Barham and husband Jack of Florida; two sisters-in�law, Juanita Query Coldiron and husband Jack of Lake Junaluska and Neta Blackwelder Helms of Concord; a brother-in-law Earl C. Helms and wife Doris of Smithfield; and many nieces and nephews.
