Keith Edward Black's Obituary
Keith Edward Black, age 33, of Brantley Road, died Thursday, February 25, 2010.
Funeral services for Keith will be conducted at Kannapolis Church of Christ on Monday, March 1, 2010 at 2:00 pm. The pastor, Mr. Kirk Sams will officiate. Burial will follow in Carolina Memorial Park. The body will be placed in the church 30 minutes prior to the service.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 6 to 8:30 pm at Lady's Funeral Home. At other times, the family will be at the home of his mother on Brantley Road.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Eugene M. Propst and W.F. & Vera Black.
Keith was born in Cabarrus County on August 25, 1976. He attended the Kannapolis City Schools and graduated from A. L. Brown High School in 1994. Having attended UNC-Charlotte, his interests were in Special Education and English. He was employed with the Maintenance Department at A.L. Brown High School where he had worked for the past 17 years.
Survivors include his mother, Patsy Black McFalls and husband, Mike of Kannapolis, his father Dwight E. Black of Wilson, NC: his grandmother, Louise U. Propst of Kannapolis; step-brother, Shawn McFalls and his wife, Samantha, of Kannapolis; step-sister, Jennifer Stone and her husband, Rock of Mt. Pleasant; nephews Luke Stone and Kyleigh McFalls; and two uncles, Terry and Phil Black.
The family request memorials to be directed to the A.L. Brown Athletic Department, 415 East First Street, Kannapolis, NC 28083.
