Lennie Jones Michael's Obituary
Mrs. Lennie Jones DeHart Michael, 92, a resident of Christian Fellowship Home in Syosset, New York, and formerly of Alexander Avenue in Kannapolis, died Saturday, May 24, 2003, at Syosset Hospital.
Funeral services will be conducted 10 a.m. Thursday, May 29, 2003, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. David Myers and Rev. Coy Privette will officiate. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Lady's Funeral Home.
Born July 12, 1910, in Sparta, NC, she was a daughter of the late Lonnie Jones and the late Laura Mabe Jones. Mrs. Michael retired several years ago from Cannon Mills Company. She was a member of North Kannapolis Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands, Elmer Bergen DeHart and Garland Michael.
Survivors include two brothers, James Jones of Huntington, NY and Coy Jones of High Point, NC.
