Lillian Ruth Ferguson Fryer's Obituary
Mrs. Lillian Ruth "Honey" Ferguson Fryer, 84, of Mable Avenue, Kannapolis, and formerly of Waco, Texas, died Friday, April 9, 2010, at the Bob and Carolyn Tucker Hospice House.
A memorial service will be conducted at 6 p.m. Friday, April 16, 2010, at Jackson Park United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 5 p.m.
Born March 7, 1926 in Roaring Springs, Texas, she was the daughter of the late Robert Ferguson and Lorene Thompson Ferguson. Mrs. Fryer was a homemaker and artist.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Fryer; a sister, Helen Ferguson Shook; and two brothers, Robert Ferguson and Bill Ferguson.
Survivors include her husband, John Russell Fryer of the home; daughter, Jane Fitch and husband, Troy, of Kannapolis; brother, Joe Ferguson of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two sisters-in-law, Dorothy Ferguson of Fort Worth, Texas and Jo Ferguson of Tyler, Texas; and two grandsons, Forrest Fitch and Luke Fitch.
