Lois Margaret Miller Jones' Obituary
Mrs. Lois Margaret Miller Jones, 93, passed away Sunday, January 26, 2025, at Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord.
A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 am Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. George Morris will officiate. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 10:45 am at Lady's Funeral Home.
Lois was born June 18, 1931 in Cabarrus County. She was a daughter of the late John Hedrick Miller and Lillian Cordelia Atwell Miller. She retired from Cannon Mills where she worked in the Weave Room as a Filling Hand. She was a member of Friendship Freewill Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Banxie "Sam" Jones; two sisters, Betty McDaniel and Madeline Miller; and four brothers, David Miller, Johnny Miller, James Miller, and Bruce Miller.
Lois is survived by her daughter, Kathy Horne and husband Jerry of Kannapolis; two grandchildren, Steven Horne and Ashley Goodman; and one great grandchild, Hayley Graham.
Memorials may be sent to Friendship Freewill Baptist Church, 509 West 22nd Street, Kannapolis, NC 28081.
