Lucille James Lyles' Obituary
Mrs. Mary Lucille James Lyles, 82, of 4285 Highway 152 East, Rockwell, died Saturday, December 2, 2006, at her home.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 5, 2006, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Lamar Parton will officiate. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, December 4, 2006, at Lady's Funeral Home. At other times they will be at the residence.
Born November 23, 1924, in Richmond County, she was the daughter of the late Henry Luther James and Addie Frances Best James. She was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herman George Franklin Lyles, who died July 19, 1994; five brothers, Arthur, Bill, Clyde, Johnny and Lacy James; and three grandchildren, David Lyles, Jr., Deborah Faye Lyles and Charles Lee Roop.
Survivors include three daughters, Brenda Lyles Faires and husband, Earl, of Peachland, Mary Lyles Tarlton and husband, Ernie, of Camden, SC, Delores Lyles Gambrell and husband, Robert, of Salisbury; three sons, Marvin Lyles and wife, Brenda, of Rockwell, George Lyles and wife, Pam, of Charlotte, David Lyles and wife, Pat, of the home; 12 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
