Lula Walters Seaford's Obituary
Mrs. Lula Walters Seaford, 87, of Davidson Highway, Concord, died Thursday, August 31, 2006, at Big Elm Nursing Center in Kannapolis.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 2, 2006, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Leon Smith will officiate. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Lady's Funeral Home. At other times they will be at the home of a daughter, Betty Perry, 1000 Skyway Drive, Kannapolis.
Born April 30, 1919, in Cabarrus County, she was the daughter of the late P. A. Walters and Betty Mae Faggart Walters. She was retired from Linn Cotton Mill in Landis and Cannon Mills in Kannapolis. She was a member of Royal Oaks Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Spurgeon Seaford and two sons, Buck E. Seaford and Ricky Lee Seaford.
Survivors include three daughters, Betty Ann Perry and husband, Marshall of Kannapolis, Betty Lou Weaver and Betty Jean Alderman and husband, Carl, all of Concord; a brother, Alfred P. Walters of Concord; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
