Mack Franklin Hager's Obituary
Mr. Mack Franklin Hager, 76, passed away Thursday, November 21, 2013, at his home.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, November 25, 2013, at Bethpage Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Rev. Ellen Campbell Gardner will officiate.
Mr. Hager was born on November 26, 1936 in Mecklenburg County. He was a son of the late Robert Hager and Ruby Harwell Hager. He graduated from A.L. Brown High School. Mr. Hager was a US Army veteran of the Korean War. He retired from Duke Power where he worked in field construction.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Margeline “Doody” Shimpock; and two brothers, Tommy and Tim Hager.
Mr. Hager is survived by his sister, Travis Hager Morris of Charlotte; six nieces, Verna Beacham, Eva Thomas, Yolonda Shimpock, Carolyn Hager, Debbie Hager and Donna Hager; and three nephews, Stan Morris, Billy Hager and Jimmy Hager.
