Mr. Marco Vinicio Shoff, 20, of 6000 Lumber Lane, Kannapolis, died Tuesday, June 26, 2007, in Mecklenburg County.
Services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, July 1, 2007, at Truth Temple. Dr. Garland Faw, the Rev. Jimmie Sowder, the Rev. David Lankford, and the Rev. Flip Benham will officiate. Entombment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday, June 30, 2007, at Lady's Funeral Home.
Born April 10, 1987, in San Jose, Costa Rica, he was the son of Richard Brady Shoff and Yorleny Brenes Shoff. He was employed as an I/T specialist with Lincoln Log Homes. He was a member of Truth Temple in Kannapolis and Family Worship Center in Stanley.
Survivors include his parents, Richard Brady Shoff and Yorleny Brenes Shoff, of Kannapolis; a brother, Cory Shoff of the home; grandfather, Hipolito Brenes of San Jose, Costa Rica; half-sister, Judy Shoff of Concord; aunts, Katia Brenes Rivera, Tatiana Brenes Rivera and Hellen Brenes Rivera, all of San Jose, Costa Rica, Mary Shoff of Avon Park, FL, Marjorie Peer of Seabring, FL and Barbara Shoff of Bartlesville, OK; an uncle; Rodrigo Brenes Rivera of San Jose, Costa Rica; and three cousins, Steven Brenes Rivera, Luis F. Ordonez and Daniel Brenes, all of San Jose, Costa Rica.
