Margie Bittle Hodge's Obituary
Margie Bittle Hodge, 59, of 8811 Freeze Road, Kannapolis, died Friday, October 30, 2009, at Duke University Medical Center in Durham.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, November 2, 2009 at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. John Mark Beam will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, November 1, 2009, at Lady's Funeral Home. At other times, they will be at the home of a son, Rodney Hodge, 8817 Freeze Road, Kannapolis.
Born September 20, 1950 in Chesterfield County, SC, she was a daughter of the late Pearl R. Bittle and Fannie Jordan Bittle. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, William F. Hodge; son, Rodney Hodge and wife Kelly of Kannapolis; a sister, Ellen Louise Killian of China Grove; five brothers, Ray Boyd Bittle and wife Maxine of Kannapolis, Rev. Earl R. Bittle and wife Dixie of Cherryville, Rev. Charles Burris Bittle and wife Diane of Pageland, SC, Junior Bittle and wife Linda Kay of Mt. Pleasant, Lloyd Bittle and wife Shelia of Landis; and two grandchildren, Wendy Michelle Hodge and Joseph Blake Hodge.
Memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
