Martha Fowler Ritchie's Obituary
Mrs. Martha Fowler Ritchie, 95, passed away Friday, January 11, 2019, at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.
A funeral service is scheduled for 3:00 pm Monday, January 14, 2019, at Concordia Lutheran Church. Rev. Ken Reed and Rev. Dr. Larry Bost will officiate. Interment will follow at Concordia Lutheran Church Cemetery in China Grove.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 2:45 pm Monday at Concordia Lutheran Church.
Mrs. Ritchie was born June 9, 1923 in Kannapolis. She was a daughter of the late Baxter Lee Fowler and Virginia Smith Fowler. She was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Hugh Fowler, James Stacy Fowler and Howard Thomas Fowler; two sisters, Willie Hinson and Gail Kluttz.
Mrs. Ritchie is survived by her daughter, Sheila Pike and husband Harold of China Grove; son, Barry Ritchie and wife Betty; sister, Ruth Shepherd of Salisbury; seven grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren.
