Mary Ruby Brumley's Obituary
Mary Ruby Morrison Brumley, 84, of Enochville School Road, Kannapolis, died Wednesday, December 7, 2005, at NorthEast Medical Center.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Brumley will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, December 9, 2005, in Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. John Mark Beam III will officiate. Burial will be at St. Enoch Lutheran Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. prior to the service.
Mrs. Brumley was born in Cabarrus County on April 19, 1921, a daughter of the late Samuel Clyde Morrison and Ruth Karriker Morrison. She was a member of St. Enoch Lutheran Church and retired from the wash cloth department of Cannon Mills Plant 1.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jay Newton Brumley, in October 1999; a sister, Lurlee Leazer; and two brothers, Clyde "Sonny" Morrison and Frank Morrison.
Survivors include a son, Paul Brumley; two daughters, Nancy Watson and Linda McRae, all of Kannapolis; two sisters, Helen Herman and Edna Campbell, both of Kannapolis; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
